Course Description

Firefighter! Doctor! Lawyer! Teacher! How many times have you been asked: “What do you want to be when you grow up?” Whether you have known the answer to this question for a long time or if you still have no idea, this hands-on camp is for you. You learn from local experts about their career path, and will gain behind-the-scenes access to different workplaces across Richmond. You will walk away with newfound skills, including writing and delivering an elevator pitch, crafting your first resume, and discovering careers that didn’t even exist 20 years ago. Join us for a week of learning, exploration and fun!

About the Instructor

A proud Trinity alum, Stephanie Hiedemann is a passionate educator and career coach. As a member of the College Counseling Team, she supports students through all steps of the college process. She also runs Junior Work Week, Trinity's signature job shadowing program. Stephnie has a freelance career coaching business and earned her Certified Professional Resume Writer designation in 2020.
