Graduation

Trinity is excited to be able to host a limited number of guests for our on-campus Graduation Weekend. The class of 2021 has successfully navigated one of the most challenging years in history, and we look forward to honoring them with a celebratory event on May 27 and 28.

To help us comply faithfully with the conditions for in-person graduations laid out by Executive Order 72, attendees are reminded  of the following:

  • no one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, a positive diagnostic test for the virus that causes COVID-19 in the prior 10 days, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in their prior 14 days, is permitted
  • masks covering the nose and mouth are required for all
  • no food will be permitted (only water)
  • no social gatherings will occur on campus before, during or after the event
  • attendees will maintain their six-person pods during entry and exit, maintaining six feet of distance from other pods

  • Rehearsal (Thursday, May 27)

    Seniors will meet in the gym at 3:30 p.m. Attendance is mandatory. Dress is casual. You do not need your cap and gown. Rehearsal typically lasts about 1.5 hours. 

    The TPA will sponsor a boxed dinner for all seniors immediately following the rehearsal. There will be games, prizes for EVERYONE, a gift card basket, music, and lots of fun! Please plan on joining your classmates for this event.
  • Senior Chapel and Awards (Friday, May 28)

    Senior awards will be followed by the senior slideshow.  Two (2) guests per graduate are welcome to attend. This will be held in the Estes Athletic Center and live-streamed for family and friends who may not be able to attend.  We will celebrate our seniors’ accomplishments and their time at Trinity.  
  • Commencement (Saturday, May 29)

    Commencement will begin at 9:00 a.m. on the Field Hockey Field. 

    Each senior can bring up to six (6) guests. Guests will be seated together as a group with spacing between families. Please expect heavy traffic in the neighborhood and allow extra travel time as well as time for parking and walking to the Field Hockey Field.  There will be a shuttle service for those who need assistance. Seniors must arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.  Seniors will congregate and process into the ceremony and will sit together in a designated area.

    This event will be live-streamed for family and friends who may not be able to attend in person.
  • Guests

    Senior Awards and Chapel (Friday, May 28):
    • Two (2) guests per graduate. 


    Commencement (Saturday, May 29)

    • Each graduate may invite no more than six (6) family members. Guests will be seated together as a group with spacing between families. (Graduates will be seated together in another group near the stage.)

    This event will be live-streamed for family and friends who may not be able to attend in person.
  • Attire for Graduates

    Commencement (5/29): 
    Students can choose to wear:
    • Dress pants (no shorts), collared shirt (which includes option for polo style shirt), and dress shoes or
    • Dress and dress shoes or sandals (no flip flops)
    • All students will wear their cap and gown for the graduation ceremony.

    Only the following Trinity issued items may be worn on the outside of the graduation robe:
    • IB stole
    • “Top 10” medallion
    • Salutatorian or Valedictorian medallion

    Awards and Chapel (5/28)
    • Dress shirt, tie, dress pants (no shorts), belt, and dress shoes.
    • Well-groomed and clean-shaven.
    • No tennis shoes, sandals, flip flops, denim, hats or sunglasses.
    Or
    • Dress pants, skirt and blouse, or dress (appropriate school length).
    • Dress shoes.
    • No strapless or backless dresses.
    • No tennis shoes, flip flops, denim, hats or sunglasses.
