  • Head Volleyball Coach



    Volleyball Head Coach

    Trinity Episcopal School is looking for a highly motivated, energetic Varsity Volleyball Head Coach/Program Head for the fall of the 2024-2025 school year. Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Lead preparation and practice for the volleyball program
    • Delegate duties of skill specific coaching
    • Manage any and all game day operation 
    • Drive a minibus to local and league games
    • Provide mentorship to high school aged girls 
    • Responsible for all administrative duties within the volleyball program, either independently or oversight of
    • Foster an environment of inclusivity and provide a positive experience for all student-athletes within the volleyball program
    • Work closely with other program heads to promote multi-sport athletes at Trinity
    • Coordinate in-season strength and conditioning schedule with Trinity's strength and conditioning coach
    • Communicate weekly with parents via email concerning schedules and necessary announcements

    This is a stipend, part-time position with the expectation to be at daily practices and games.

    Volleyball begins August 12th and goes through either the regular season finale, state tournament elimination or championship game (November 9th).

    This Head Coach is required to attend the fall coaches meeting, end of year athletic banquet (May 10, 2025) and hold an end-of-season gathering.

    About Trinity Athletics:

    The Trinity athletics program is geared towards developing the whole person. Coaches work closely with athletes to build character traits like hard work, discipline, respect, cooperation and commitment that will benefit them in sports, academics, and beyond. For each Trinity team, the emphasis is on personal improvement, camaraderie and the value of competition.

    Trinity requires all of its students to earn athletic/activity participation credit for a total of six seasons during their Trinity years. Titans can participate by playing for or managing one of 36 teams in 22 sports, from volleyball to swimming, and golf to football.

    Trinity is a proud member of the Virginia Preparatory League (boys) and the League of Independent Schools (girls), as well as the Virginia Independent School Athletics Association (VISAA). Trinity Titans consistently win state championships, league titles, sportsmanship awards, and coach of the year awards.

    The 50,000-square-foot Estes Athletic Center features two gyms, a strength and fitness center, multiple locker rooms and team meeting rooms, school store, concession stand and alumni rooms for meetings and social events. Trinity’s tennis teams compete at Southampton Recreation Association. The swim teams train and compete in a 50-meter, 8-lane competition pool at SwimRVA. The home course for the golf team is Salisbury Country Club.
