Visiting Trinity

NO CAMPUS VISITS OFFERED AT THIS TIME

An Open House is held each year in October to introduce prospective students and parents to the Trinity community. This year's Virtual Admission Information Program will take place on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 2 p.m. [ REGISTER HERE TO ATTEND ]

Interested students and parents are also invited to take a Titan Tour, and students may experience being a Titan for a Day following the tour. To arrange either, please contact our admission team member Sam Mickens at (804) 327-3146. Titans for a Day should have an application on file in order for us to plan an appropriate schedule.

Our "Q&A on Pittaway" event offers an evening of questions and answers for parents of prospective students.  The informal gathering provides an opportunity for prospective parents to meet current parents and teachers.

Specific questions about Trinity’s International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are addressed in two forums. Prospective IB students meet with the IB Coordinator during their Titan for a Day visit, and parents of prospective IB students may attend an IB information session held during the entrance testing time. Information about the IB scholarships is also discussed, and attendance at one of the sessions is required for a parent of each scholarship candidate.

A Typical Day

Academics, athletics and arts are the underpinning of any successful school, but there are certain things about Trinity that set it apart from other independent schools. The school's signature daily event, Morning Meeting, when the whole school comes together to share announcements, triumphs, news and an occasional corny joke, is a way the student body builds the community spirit that makes Trinity unique.

In the courtyard following Morning Meeting, Head of School Rob Short greets each student every day. On sunny days at lunchtime, student musicians entertain in Dunn Courtyard's Pach's Place. From the classrooms in the Academic Building, comes the sound of intellectual exchange. Around the corner beside Morgan Hall, the ceramics kiln is heating up, and you can hear, very faintly, from the Perkinson Arts Center, the band practicing. Over in the Science Discovery Center, the robotics team is applying physics to real-world challenges.

Nearly 45 clubs and activities, hundreds of hours of community service, and cheering fans supporting Titans at athletic contests are all part of the successful equation that adds up to the family-like atmosphere of Trinity.  Students feel a sense of belonging here.  We invite you to visit to learn more and see for yourself.

Virtual Student-Led Titan Tours

While the campus remains closed to visitors, prospective students and families are invited to tour Trinity’s campus virtually.

To learn more about virtual student-led Titan Tours, please contact Sam Mickens via email sammickens@trinityes.org or phone (804) 327-3146.
