Over 35% of Trinity students receive income-based tuition assistance each year in the form of financial aid grants. Trinity welcomes inquiries from families who require financial aid in order to consider Trinity and hopes that no child is denied a Trinity education because of financial reasons.
To be eligible for financial aid you must complete the need-analysis application through the School and Student Service for Financial Aid (SSS), a service of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
To apply for financial aid, please follow the procedures outlined below. New students must complete their applications by February 8, 2021 if they want to receive a financial aid determination letter with the acceptance letter. All other financial aid candidates should have their applications completed by April 16, 2021. Any applications submitted after April 16 will only be considered based on the remaining available funds. Please submit your most recent completed tax return.
Do not delay your application by waiting to complete your 2020 return. Financial aid requests will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee, and all information submitted and grants awarded will be held in strict confidence. Admission candidacy is not affected by a financial aid request, and financial aid decisions are made separately from enrollment decisions. The Financial Aid Committee evaluates family need and the needs of other applicants in determining the amount of financial aid to be awarded.
