State championship is the team's fourth in the last five years.
Boys Cross Country finished off a historic season with their fourth State Championship in the past five years on the Woodberry Forest Cross Country course on November 7, 2014. Entering into the meet the boys lone loss to a private school team occurred a short three weeks prior when they fell to Bishop O'Connell at the Milestat Invitational.
"That loss only furthered the boys resolve and increased their focus heading into the state championship meet," said Head Coach Marcus Jones. "Fighting for every last position through the finish line the boys were able to defeat all other teams and were 16 points in front of 2nd place Bishop O' Connell."
