The Richmond Forum Patron Tickets Available to Students by Lottery

The Richmond Forum is a non-profit educational organization with a mission to bring leaders from the world stage to their stage in Richmond and, in their words, "to expand horizons, stimulate conversation, and inspire our community.”

Each year they produce five programs, bringing some of the biggest and most influential names in the world to the Altria Theatre stage. This year’s lineup includes Retired Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster, Nobel Peace Prize winner and Journalist Maria Ressa, Paleoanthropologist Ella Al-Shamahi, Actor John Lithgow, and Philosophers Dr. Cornel West and Thomas Chatterton Williams.

Trinity has been graced with ten tickets to each event by Dr. and Mrs. Baxter Perkinson, who generously provide patron-level tickets that allow students the opportunity to meet, eat dinner, and take a picture with people such as past U.S. presidents, famous film directors and actors, sitting heads of state, leaders from the sciences, arts, business, and more. These Patron Tickets are distributed by lottery and students must sign up for the event that they would like to attend on the speaker’s page on the Trinity Richmond Forum website by clicking on the black “Sign Up” button on the speaker’s photo and completing the short Google Form.

If your child’s name is selected, they will have the opportunity to attend a light hors d’oeuvres reception and have dinner at either the Omni Richmond Hotel or The Jefferson Hotel with the speaker and leading members of the Richmond community and will receive shuttle transportation to and from the Altria Theatre to attend the Forum speaking event. Patron level winners receive prime lower level seating at The Richmond Forum, as well as the chance to meet the speaker at a dessert reception after the program.
