The pain? Bad.
The rehab? No fun at all.
The watching? Now that was the hardest part.
But Aaron Duhart persevered, and five games ago, three months after surgery to repair the meniscus in the right knee he injured shooting a simple layup, he rejoined his Trinity Episcopal teammates in live action.
There was a feeling of exhilaration then, but nothing compared to the sensation Wednesday night when he drained three long 3-pointers, added a layup, and played a major role in the Titans’ 90-74 victory over visiting Bishop Sullivan in the VISAA Division I basketball tournament quarterfinals.
