Description:
This program for all area high school rising seniors will create a comprehensive and organized plan to have them on track for their college experience. Many students do not know where to begin for all of the components that make up the application packet. We will get them started with their college applications, essays, and testing schedules. Students will prepare a background list and resume for their application packet. Professional etiquette is necessary to making a good first and lasting impression. Students will gain an understanding of completing well thought out emails, as well as how to approach phone conversations. Students will organize all of the materials and information for this program in an individualized reference binder. This program is designed for students motivated to work each day they are in attendance.
Instructors:

She is the author of two college planners (one for Juniors, and one for Seniors), entitled The College Edge: Getting My Tail Into College & Other Really Important Stuff. She has served as a guest lecturer through various programs including Richmond’s Yale Alumni Club, the University of Virginia’s Alumni Program, the Jewish Community Center, and numerous PTA organizations. Julie now serves Trinity Episcopal School as its Director of College Guidance.
