For the second consecutive year, Trinity Episcopal field hockey achieved its goal and won the LIS final as the Titans defeated Collegiate 3-0 at its home field in front of a large crowd, including a cheerful student section.
“I have to pinch myself because it’s just unbelievable,” said Trinity Episcopal coach Margie Snead. “I’ve been coaching for too many years to remember and have watched the team (Collegiate) that we’ve competed against win championships time after time and we just feel honored and lucky to be in the mix of things. I’m so proud of the girls for being able to do that two years in a row.”
