Course Description

This is a two week course designed for students entering Algebra 1 who would like to review and strengthen the foundation skills.

Students will practice:
  • Number Sense (Least Common Multiple , Greatest Common Factor)
  • Mathematical Operations involving Decimals, Fractions, Integers, & Radicals
  • Order of Operation
  • Variable Expression
  • Exponential Notation and Evaluation
  • Equations and Functions

    • Tuesday, July 13 - Thursday, July 22 (9 – 11:30 a.m.)

    Section 2:
    • Tuesday, July 13 - Thursday, July 22 (12:15 p.m.- 2:45 p.m.)

    This course only meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

About the Instructor

Stacey Woodson has been teaching mathematics for 18 years. She started teaching at Trinity in 2015. Mrs. Woodson currently teaches Algebra II/Trig and Calculus. She has a B.S. in mathematics, a minor in business from VCU, and is National Board Certified. She is also a co-sponsor of the TES Robotics team and Cultural Awareness Association.
