Ceramics Techniques (1-Day Workshops)

Improve your skills and learn new methods in this one day ceramics workshop with instructor Molly Sanyour. Work will not be fired, however you will gain skills and techniques to take back with you to help you on your clay journey! From centering, to throwing larger, to stacking pots, to making lids and handles to whatever skills you would like to focus on!!!

About the Instructor

A graduate of both Trinity and James Madison University, Molly Sanyour ’01 has been teaching ceramics at Trinity since 2014 where she specializes in teaching the fundamentals to beginner students, with no previous experience, skills or knowledge of clay, and transforming them into passionate ceramic artists who are making art to be proud of! She creates and shows her own work at the VMFA and Quirk Gallery gift shops and most excitingly, created a butt mug seen with Lizzo from Dove Campaigns to Vogue Interviews! Outside of Trinity, she teaches to world wide audiences through Instagram, online ceramics membership programs, and on platforms like Skillshare and Ceramicon.
