The Pep Rally was the culminating event of Spirit Week and officially kicked off Homecoming Weekend on Friday afternoon.
Pep Rally events included knockout, egg roulette and an epic lip-sync battle among competitors from all five classes.
Boys soccer displayed teamwork and sportsmanship in a 5-0 win over Fork Union Military Academy.
Field hockey faced tough competition from Cape Henry Collegiate, but prevailed 1-0.
Alumni from the classes of 3s and 8s gathered in the Academic Commons for a Reunions Weekend celebration.
The class of 2008 had one of the largest turnouts, as they celebrated their 10th reunion.
Alumni reminisced with old friends and teachers, finding familiar faces amidst a growing campus with new facilities built since their graduation.

Festivities continued into the night with the Annual Oyster Roast in Dunn Courtyard.
Saturday morning’s events began with a luncheon honoring the IB diploma candidates from the recently graduated class of 2018.
Only a few weeks into their first semester at college, the graduates remarked that the Trinity IB diploma program has given them a boost in their writing, time management and critical thinking skills.
Homecoming 2018 was also a time for families to reconnect, including more than a few multi-generational Titan alumni families.
Current students and alumni from the class of 2018 picked up their copies of the fresh-from-the box Shield yearbook, which were completed over the summer and printed this fall.
School spirit was on full display at Aycock Stadium for Saturday afternoon’s football game.

With the game’s fate decided on the final play, Fork Union left the field with the win (20-16).

Homecoming Weekend 2018: A Celebration of All Things Trinity

Despite road closures and power outages across the city, the weather cooled off just in time for Titans of all ages to enjoy a pleasant and festive Homecoming 2018. The weekend’s athletic results were mixed, with girls tennis, volleyball and football falling to competitors, while boys soccer and field hockey enjoyed shutout victories on Friday evening. Through it all, school spirit and fond memories reigned supreme, as alumni, parents, students and friends gathered to celebrate all things Trinity.
