Fall 2017 All-Metro Honorees

Richmond Times-Dispatch recognizes top-performing student athletes from the fall athletic season.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch released its All-Metro teams over the holiday break, recognizing top-performing student athletes from the fall athletic season. The school was represented by six Titans, including two in football, two in cross country and three in field hockey.

The Trinity 2017 All-Metro Cross Country Team:
  • Mary Kehoe ’21 (1st Team)
    “Kehoe finished eighth at the Pole Green Classic (19:21.40). She was the runner-up at both the Woodberry Forest Invitational (20:24.93) and the Big Cat Invite (19:04.37), and she was third in the Fork Union Invitational (19:29.78). Kehoe finished 13th at the MileStat.com Invitational with a PR of 18:46. She finished second at the LIS meet (20:01.71) and third (20:12.84) at the VISAA Division I meet.”

  • Max Galbraith ’18 (2nd Team)
 
The Trinity 2017 All-Metro Field Hockey Team:
  • Aubrey Scott King ’18 (1st Team)
    “With 14 goals and four assists, King was an influential presence as the Titans won the LIS and finished as runners-up in the VISAA. King was voted all-LIS, all-VISAA and was also named all-South by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.”

  • Erika Latta ’19 (1st Team)
  • “Latta returns as a member of the All-Metro first team after leading the Titans’ defense to 13 shutouts in 25 games. Latta also posted 95 saves this season, good for an 80.5 percent save percentage. The junior earned all-LIS and all-VISAA honors.”

  • Sally Snead ’19 (2nd Team)

The Trinity 2017 All-Metro Football Team:
  • Tink Boyd ’18 (1st Team)
    “Boyd set three Richmond-area receiving records this year: yards in a season (1,364), yards in a game (300) and touchdowns in a game (five). In just nine games, he produced 3,498 all-purpose yards and scored 16 touchdowns. He was named all-state by the VISAA.”
  • Foster Singleton ’18 (Honorable Mention)
