Admissions Process

Trinity welcomes inquiries from prospective students and their families. Students may enter Trinity as new students in grades 8 or 9 or may transfer into the upper grades if space is available.

Trinity enrolls students who will thrive in our challenging academic program and who will be positive members of our school community. The application process includes parent and applicant questionnaires, testing, an interview, a current school transcript, and recommendations. Trinity accepts students without regard to racial, religious or ethnic background.

Prospective students and their parents are invited to the annual Admissions Open House on Sunday, October 25, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. Beginning November 3 applicants and their parents may schedule school visitation days and testing days.  The applicant profile, applicant questionnaire, and parent questionnaire must be on file in the Admissions Office before a visiting day or a testing day will be scheduled.

First round offers of admission into the 8th and 9th grades will be mailed  March 16, 2010.  To be considered in the first round, a complete application including transcript, recommendations, and testing must be received in the Admissions Office by Friday, February 26.  After February 26, applications will be considered if space is available.

Applicants for transfer into grades 10, 11, or 12 will be considered beginning in March on a rolling basis.

The admission staff welcomes the opportunity to talk to you about Trinity and the admissions process.  Please give one of us a call:  Emily McLeod (327-3156), Margie Snead (327-3151) or Hillary Grotos (327-3148).
